Lady from Orient is a compelling artwork, demonstrating Tretchikoff’s fascination with the allure of the Eastern world. This exquisite portrait radiates an aura of serenity and elegance, much like the mysterious female subject it encapsulates. The painting showcases a woman embodying Eastern sophistication, her expressive eyes revealing a narrative of deep-rooted tradition and vibrant culture.

Tretchikoff’s striking use of colour, especially the warm red and orange tones, contrasts with the cooler hues of the lady’s complexion, intensifying her allure and adding depth to the composition. Lady from Orient is a visual poetry of cultures, a testament to Tretchikoff’s mastery in communicating richness of character through his portraits. This enchanting piece is not just a tribute to the artist’s skill but an invitation to viewers to explore the captivating world of the East through his lens.
